APPAREL Architecture presented its new furniture series APPARATUS Workshop during the 15th edition of souk @ sat.

The house constructed by DIA – Dittel Architekten blends into the context of a historical country estate dating from the Middle Ages. The listed property is located in a rural setting in South Germany, which is characterized by natural areas and agricultural land.

An authentic luxury retreat in rural China, Wuyuan Skywells captures the essence of a bygone era in the millennium-old Yan village. The Skywells project focused on the preservation rather than the modernization of a 300-year-old Huizhou-style property deep in East China’s Jiangxi Province.

Designed by EDGE Architects, 1/JBR, scheduled for completion in 2019, is a state-of-the-art, 46-story residential facility with a design focus at its core.

Negotiating the steep topography of a lake-side site, this holiday house consists of two volumes stacked on one another. The lower volume nestles into the landscape so that it is barely visible as one first approaches the house.

The Wooden Wing is a large cottage on the shores of Lac Supérieur, in Quebec’s Laurentians. The house is perched on a sizeable outcrop of granite bedrock, giving it a commanding yet intimate view of the lake and Mont Tremblant, on the other side.
